Modern dynohubs are a major advance in bicycle lighting technology. They're a boon to transportation cyclists and brevet riders alike. A dynohub makes a bike much more like a proper vehicle. The lights powered by dynohubs are bright and demand the attention of motorists on the road. And you know we can use all the help we can get out there. I don't know how many times someone has told me they thought I was a motorcycle when they saw my headlight. When I put my first dynohub on one of my bikes I was so impressed that I immediately rebuilt the front wheels of my other commuter and my fiance's commuter around dynohubs. Since I ride all of my bikes at night I would never consider building another bike without a dynohub. That's how good they are. You really have to see a dynohub driven light or ride a bike with one at night to appreciate how well they work.
