Waterford Frames

Waterford frames are built in Waterford, Wisconsin in the same factory that produced the famous Schwinn Paramounts. The company is run by Richard Schwinn. The story goes that as Schwinn was bought and sold several times in the last couple of decades at one point the Waterford factory was up for sell. Richard couldn't retain the Schwinn or Paramount names, but he has continued the tradition on fine, American made frames started by his family decades ago.

Waterford can build you any type of bicycle you'd like custom made to fit your porportions. We've mostly sold their road frames, and are extremely happy with their S3 frameset. Joey races one at the Cat 1 level. The True Temper S3 tubeset allows racers to re-embrace the fine ride of steel without suffering a weight penalty of their carbon riding competitors.

We'll add more details here as time allows. You can check out a very nicely built Waterford on our gallery page. Or go to Waterford's website. If you have questions about Waterfords or would like to schedule a fit appointment for your custom bike, call us at the shop and we'll be happy to help.
